Thanks for helping test Family Things — a calm home-inventory app for families. It takes ~3 minutes to get started. Please pop in every couple of days over the test period.
1 · Become a tester & install

Open the tester opt-in link we sent you on your Android phone.

Tap “Become a tester”, then “Download it on Google Play”.

Install Family Things from the Play Store like any normal app.
⚠️ Please install from the Play Store via the opt-in link — installing an APK directly does not count towards the test.
2 · Sign in with Google
On the welcome screen tap “Continue with Google” and pick your Google account — that’s it, no password needed. 🎈
Your data is private and visible only to you (and anyone you invite to your household).
3 · What to try (5–10 min)
Please try to touch each area at least once — this is exactly what we’d love feedback on:
- Add an item with a photo — tap the “+”, snap a piece of clothing or a toy, and let the app suggest a name, category and size. Confirm to save.
- Create a storage place — add a Room, then a Box inside it, and put a few items in the box.
- Scan a box QR code — open a box and tap the QR icon to see its printable code.
- Add a family member profile — enter their current and next sizes (e.g. “3 years / 98-103 cm”, shoes “7 baby | EU 24”).
- Edit the wardrobe checklist — on a profile, tap “Edit list”, add/remove items and change how many are needed. Check the season readiness %.
- Seasonal shopping list — open the season list, and mark items as bought (try a partial: bought 3 of 5).
- Find item — use search to look something up, e.g. “boots” or “winter jacket”.
- Invite your family — share your household invite code (optional).
- Switch language — Settings lets you try 8 languages.

Found a bug, or something felt confusing? We’d love to hear it — even small things.

A few tips
- Please keep the app installed and stay opted in for the whole test window — if you uninstall, it affects the test.
- Open it a few times over the days, not just once.
- New updates may arrive during testing — please update when Google Play prompts you.
